Argan Oil

Organic Argan Oil

The origin of this oil and how it was first discovered and utilized is rather interesting. In Morocco, where the Argan tree grows exclusively, goat herders began to see their goats climbing to the tops of these trees, to eat the fruits that grow there.

Argan trees do not start producing fruit until they are at least thirty years old. Many argan trees live to be well over 150 years old. The goats climb over thirty feet to eat these seeds.

Argan oil is cold-pressed from the seeds. As a result, Argan oil has some beneficial properties, especially when it comes to moisturizing. In addition, it's a perfect skin or hair care ingredient, which makes it ideal for the woman on the go.

Argan oil has been getting a lot of press recently, both as a skin treatment and a treatment for smoothing the appearance of damaged hair.Moroccan Argan Oil in Skincare and Hair Care

Women first used argan oil only for the hair to smooth frizz and mend split ends. However, the oil provides significant enrichment for women who live in dry climates or have chronically dry hair.

It is one of the most effective moisturizers on the planet, giving hair life a healthy, shiny glow. Plus, it doesn't make your hair look greasy. It can be applied when the hair is wet to help seal in moisture. Or add shine and improve the appearance of hair once it is dry.

It is also great for a dry scalp, which is often the underlying cause of dry hair. When applied to the scalp before bed, it soaks in and helps strengthen hair and skin alike.

Many women are wary of using something called an "oil" on their faces. We are told by dermatologists that oil is the enemy, that it is what causes acne, enhances fine lines and wrinkles, and makes us look shiny and less than perfect.

However, Argan oil has the unique ability to moisturize the skin without making it shiny or greasy.

It carries beneficial nutrients that go deep into the skin to make it appear brighter and more beautiful — soothing
the skin, wiping out the look of redness, and even filling and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. What could be better?

Argan oil can be found on its own or as an ingredient in many of our great anti-aging products!
