Top 5 Beauty Trends for 2015

Every year, we see new and exciting beauty trends, and every year we see a few fashion and beauty faux pas that we just wish we could forget. Staying positive and focusing on what’s fun, pretty and new for 2015, let’s take a look at our favorite beauty trends for the coming year.

1. Glowing, Healthy Complexions

First and foremost, you’re going to love the skin you’re in this year. Imagine that cleansing, glowing feeling you have when you leave the yoga studio or when you take a walk on a warm, mild afternoon. We’re not talking about glistening with sweat and flushed like you are after you go for a run or after a particularly hard spin class; we’re talking about a healthy, clean, clear glow. That’s the look that you’re going for in 2015 for your complexion. A spritz of dewy moisturizer or an all-day hydrating serum with natural mineral makeup will do the trick to give you this year’s flawless face. Find your skin perfection a glowing, healthy face

2. Let Your Eyeliner Take Wing and Fly

Over the past few years, we’ve seen black eyeliner make a real comeback, and this year is no different. Instead of settling for a thin, defining line or even just a little flip at the corner, go all-out with the full cat-eye appeal. We’re seeing thick black eyeliner with dramatic wings all over the runways and the streets this year. Have fun with this simple and gorgeous eye makeup trend.

3. The Lips Have It

While trends in eye makeup may be bold and black, your lips are going to stand out this year. Radiant crimsons and shades of dark berry are everywhere. No single shade is coming out as 2015’s real “it” color; instead, anything goes, as long as it’s bright and brilliant. On that note, matte colors are still very much in for 2015, but we are starting to see some glossy and shiny colors coming back, too. Whatever you do with your lip color this year, make sure you make a statement. Your face can be almost naked, and your eyes can be monochromatic, but keep those lips popping!

4. Come Undgreat ombre waves for hair, ballantyne curly locks with two-toned color one Hair

We’re loving how free and flowing the hair trends are this year, too. You’ll be seeing a lot of half-up ‘dos, messy ponytails, bobby pins barely holding hair in place, and braids are everywhere this year, too. Long hair in ombré colors with an air-dried texture is dominating the runway for spring, summer, and fall in 2015. To get this year’s it-girl hair, just wash, towel dry, through a few bobby pins in to keep it (halfway) out of your face, and you’ll be ready to go. Long haired ladies can add volume and waves without any product or fuss by going to bed with your tresses still damp. If sleeping on wet hair makes you feel like the bride of Frankenstein in the morning, you can always towel dry your hair after you shampoo and condition it when you wake up. And, of course, if you’re running short on time, you can use your blow dryer to get it halfway there and let it air dry the rest of the way for a similar effect.

5. A New Beauty Superfood

As far as superfoods that help us look and feel better, we’ve all been on the kale bandwagon for a few years now, but it’s not the only one out there. This year, to get your face glowing and your metabolism going – and even to cure a hangover now and then – munch on some artichokes. They’re high in all of the vitamins and nutrients your face and body crave for rejuvenation and replenishment.
