  • Hi. I just received my Alpha Lipoic Acid powder in the mail. My understanding is that it needs to be dissolved in either ethanol or a glycol. Is that correct? If I want to make a 5% ALA cream, what amount of ALA powder do I use, and how much ethanol do I use to dissolve it? Approximately how long will it take to dissolve? After it is dissolved, can I then just mix it in to my base cream?
