Four peptides rather than one. Glycerin holds water; panthenol conditions.

How much to add

Recommended usage rate is 10%. If you are combining Myristoyl Hexapeptide-16 with Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17, use each at 5%.

How to use it

Blend into a lash and brow base — our Love Them Lashes base is made for this — or into a light water-based serum.

Lashes: apply with a fine eyeliner brush along the upper lash line. Keep it out of the eye itself.

Brows: apply directly with a wand or the dropper.

Hairline: apply to the hairline or scalp and massage in.

Once a day is plenty. Refrigerate what you are not using.

What each peptide is for

  • Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1 — a biotin-linked tripeptide, used in lash and brow formulas for the look of conditioned, resilient hairs.
  • Myristoyl Hexapeptide-16 — six amino acids bonded to myristic acid. The most widely used of the group in lash formulas.
  • Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17 — five amino acids bonded to myristic acid.
  • Myristoyl Tetrapeptide-12 — four amino acids, used alongside the others.

What to expect

Lashes and brows change slowly. Give it several weeks of daily use before judging, and keep at it — the look these peptides support depends on continued use, the same as any cosmetic active.

This is a cosmetic product for the appearance of lashes and brows. It is not a treatment for hair loss, and we will not pretend otherwise. If your lash or brow loss is sudden or patchy, that is a conversation for your doctor, not a serum.

Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17 is a peptide that enhances eyelash density, making them look thicker and longer by boosting keratin levels.

Myristoyl Hexapeptide-16 is also a peptide that enhances lashes and brows. Use it in combination with 17 to achieve faster and better results.

Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17 and Hexapeptide-16 are cosmeceutical peptides used in the formulation of cosmetics. Not intended for direct use on eyebrows or eyelashes. External use only.

Add 90 drops to a 1-ounce product, bulk base, or formula to achieve a 10% concentration of eyelash peptides.

For a .25 ounce vial, add 22.5 drops of Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17 to a base for a 10% concentration. If using both M-17 and M-16 peptides, add 11.25 drops of each to a .25 ounce base.

Add 45 drops of each peptide to a 1-ounce Love Them Lashes base for a 5% concentration of Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17 and Myristoyl Hexapeptide-16.

For the kit:
To create a DIY Eyelash and Eyebrow Serum:
Supplies Needed:
Each vial is .25 ounce. It is a 3-piece system.
Wand +vial + black stopper
Eyeliner brush + vial + black stopper
Peptides
Base
Glass Vessel, bowl, or Pyrex with spout
Funnel (optional)
Extracts or other ingredients (optional)

Directions: Add base to a glass vessel.
Add peptides. Add any additional ingredients (optional). Mix until well-blended.

Stand the vial on the counter. Remove the lid and black stopper. Pour the mixture into the vial. Use a funnel if desired. If you don't have a funnel, add the base to a ziplock bag, remove the air, seal it, and cut a small triangle off the base of the bag, just as you would with a pastry bag. Then, pour into the vial. Add the black stopper back to the vial, then the lid.

QHi, I’m looking to make my own eye lash and brow serum. I see you have Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17. I see it’s a very strong component in the serum to help nourish and grow. I’ve got other serums I want to add to it. Do you recommend the lash and brow eye lash peptides as well so it’s safe on eyes as you know the are delicate?

If used alone, Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17 should be used at a 10% concentration for maximum results. If you use it with Myristoyl Hexapeptide-16, then each should be used at a 5% concentration. The Love them Lashes is a base that would be used at 90%. If you have additional ingredients to add, you would use less base. The peptides and base can safely be used around the eye area and brow. Take caution when applying to the lash line as you do not want to have any product seep into the eye. We recommend using an eyeliner brush (which comes in our kit).

Both Peptides, Myristoyl Pentapeptide 17 and Myristoyl Hexapeptide 16 are for eyelash growth. It's only using one peptide, it is recommended to use Myristoyl Pentapeptide 17 at a 10% concentration. To enhance its results, use Myristoyl Pentapeptide 17 and Myristoyl Hexapeptide 16 together in a 5% concentration.

Yes, Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17 and Myristoyl Hexapeptide-16 work wonders as a hair tonic and will help your edges. 

For a 1 ounce Hair Tonic:

Add 22.5 drops of Myristoyl Pentapepide-17 and 22.5 drops of Myristoyl Hexapeptide-16 to a base. The base can be any leave on hair product or even a hydrosol.

Yes, you can add the Eyelash Peptide to any of our bases. You can add up to a 10% concentration. If your base size was 1 ounce, you would add 90 drops.
Qsince castor oil is supposed to be good for lash growth as well, could I mix these peptides with castor oil? or would that dilute the effectiveness?

The peptides are water-soluble and need to be added in a water phase, to a water-soluble base like Hyaluronic Acid, at the end of a formulation or you can make a cream base with the castor oil and add the peptides at the end of the formulation. Let us know if you need help with making a cream base as castor oil would be a great base as long as it has an emulsifier that will bind the peptides in the formula.
QCan I just add this to castor oil alone?

Our Myristoyl Peptapeptide and Hexapeptide are water-based. They would need to be added to a base that consists of aloe, hyaluronic acid, or any other water base. You can also add them to a premade eyelash product. They are not compatible with an oil base like castor oil. Due to popular demand, we have new bases that will be coming out this week! One is an Aloe Gel and the other is a Lash and Brow base. Both would be perfect for either of the Eye Lash Peptides.
QHow long before results are seen?

Using a 10% concentration twice a day, results typically take less than 2 weeks to begin to appear. Full results take 4-6 weeks. Everyone is different and results will vary.
