Meet Our Team

Authors at Skin Perfection

Hi there! My name is Sara Katharine (I go by “SK" for short!) Creamer and I have been a licensed esthetician since 2013! Practicing Reiki since 2016, I became a certified Reiki Healer in 2017, which I have used as a harmonizing complement to esthetics.

Microdermabrasion Esthetician

Today, I engage with a conscious community of empowered individuals and I have focused on all things skin care and spirituality.

Currently located in central Florida, I manage Mermaid Intuition and perform skin care/Reiki services on loved ones, while working as a media specialist for a local beauty school and premier salon group.

Living in an apartment I like to call the pink palace, my fur baby, a black, long-haired chihuahua named Annie, is the best roommate. In free time, when I’m not eating, drinking, and being merry with friends and family, I love doing yoga, spending time in fresh air, dancing freely, spontaneous adventures, and expressing myself with fashion/beauty.

Beauty Inspiration

In love with beauty since I could grasp a make-up brush, my mom used to say I put on lipstick better than her… at age 2! This infatuation with beauty led to an infatuation with skin care as I got into my teen years.

Learning about skin care products, treatments, and regimens in Seventeen, Cosmo Girl, and Teen Vogue magazines is a huge contributor to my continued interest.

Soon, Pinterest was introduced and a whole new world of beauty was revealed. I wanted to learn everything I could! And thanks to the Internet, I was given that opportunity.

Immediately after graduating high school, I began as a freshman at Florida State University. Not sure what to major in, I always felt like a fish out of water walking on campus. I knew in my heart I wasn’t going to be there for long. I graduated with an associate’s degree in the arts, and then made my way to Utah to attend esthetics school.

I chose to attend Acaydia: School of Aesthetics in Provo, Utah because it was a top-rated school, and my best friend was living in Provo. Having a 600-hour program to complete, it was a fun 6-months to be out of the sunshine state!

I was blessed to have an incredible beauty school experience with wonderful teachers and classmates I am still in touch with to this day. We all remain successful in our own way, supporting one another’s esthetics journey.

Esthetician Experience

Graduating with honors from Acaydia in 2013, I quickly began work at a local salon and spa in Ocala, Florida. Fresh out of school, I had high hopes for this position, but unfortunately it wasn’t a good fit for me.

Because it was difficult to find an entry-level esthetics job in my area, I decided to put skin care on the back burner and pursue education. I worked as a countywide substitute teacher and paraprofessional for Marion County Public Schools for the next couple of years.

Subbing and assisting grades K-12, I enjoyed certain parts of the job, but was discouraged to make the jump to a full-time teacher. This was because not one teacher I met during my time at various schools recommended it, due to the state of our school system.

Towards the end of my time working for the school system, I began part-time work on evenings and weekends at Massage Envy as an esthetician. My soul was yearning to be back in the beauty industry! Once summertime hit, I resigned from Marion County Public Schools to devote more time to esthetics at Massage Envy.

Working there for a year, I was promoted to a Murad Ambassador. This entailed educating our staff and guests on Murad product knowledge. I then received a job offer to work at Tradewinds Resort & Spa in St. Pete, Florida as an esthetician.

I accepted this offer and was beyond thrilled to move beachside. There, I discovered Eminence Organic Skin Care. This discovery sparked an even further intrigue in holistic and organic skin care.

Because I was living alone in a dreamy little beach cottage, in a city where I had just moved, I had a lot of spare time. I filled this spare time by writing a blog containing skin care advice for my facial clients.

After learning many lessons and making memories at Tradewinds, I accepted a job offer to work as an esthetician at a brand new luxury spa located back in Ocala, Florida. I was promoted to Spa Educator to educate staff and guests about product lines carried in the spa, including Eminence Organic Skin Care.

Since leaving this job due to the health reasons, I have and nurtured my love for esthetics through the development and growth of Mermaid Intuition, working on the media side of the beauty industry, and freelance work. I’m so grateful to have achieved a balance that works for me!

Skincare Philosophy

“Bewitch your soul and better your skin.” This is my motto when it comes to maintaining healthy, glowing skin. The thought behind this motto is that your skin is a reflection of how you take care of yourself: emotionally, mentally, and physically.

Skin care is so much more than following a skin care regimen, even though that is important. I like to think of skin care as a sacred practice that is unique to each individual. There is no one-size fits all solution for all skin care goals, but there is a one-size fits all solution for your skin care goals!

Listening your body and following your intuition are key components in esthetics. Speak kindly and treat yourself with the utmost care; your skin cells are soaking it all in.

With patience, self-love, and commitment, your skin will be transformed, as you transform from the inside out.
