Anti-Aging Peptide for a Youthful Appearance Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 & Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7
Our DIY Matrixyl 3000 (Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7) Serum Booster. Start bringing back a youthful appearance today.
Matrixyl 3000 Serum Booster is the raw peptide complex, undiluted, in a blue glass dropper. You blend it into your own base at 3 to 8 percent. Nothing is added to stretch it and nothing is hidden — the full INCI is printed below.
This is a formulation ingredient, not a finished serum. Do not apply it directly to skin.
INCI: Glycerin, Aqua (Water), Butylene Glycol, Carbomer, Polysorbate 20, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7
That is the complete list. Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 was called Palmitoyl Oligopeptide until the INCI name changed in 2016 — if you see the old name on another label, it is the same thing.
Water-soluble. Opaque gel. Fragrance-free, paraben-free. Made in the USA.
Count the drops. It is the quickest way to do this at home and it is how most people blend our boosters. Grams are there too, for anyone who wants to reproduce a formula exactly or scale a batch up.
| Concentration | Into 1 oz of base | Into 2 oz of base |
|---|---|---|
| 3% | 27 drops · 0.9 g | 54 drops · 1.8 g |
| 5% | 45 drops · 1.5 g | 90 drops · 3.0 g |
| 8% | 72 drops · 2.4 g | 144 drops · 4.8 g |
Above 8 percent you are mostly adding glycerin and water to your base, and thinning everything else in it. Stay in the range.

Suitable for serums, moisturisers, lotions, and eye creams. Not suitable for oil-only blends — Matrixyl 3000 is water-soluble and will not incorporate into jojoba, argan, coconut, or rosehip.
Two reasons.
You control the number. Most finished products naming this ingredient will not tell you how much is in them. When you blend it yourself, you know — because you counted it in.
It goes further. One 15 ml bottle blends about ten 1 oz serums at 5 percent. You are buying the active, not the water it usually comes packaged in.
If you would rather not mix anything, the 20% Matrixyl Collagen Serum is already blended and the percentage is on the label.
Matrixyl 3000 is compatible with vitamin C, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, Syn-Ake, Argireline, copper peptide, and Matrixyl Synthe-6.
A common pairing: Matrixyl 3000 for the look of firmness across the whole face, Matrixyl Synthe-6 on the specific lines. Apply two minutes apart so each absorbs.

Refrigerate on arrival. 8 months from opening — the label carries an open-jar symbol with an 8 in it. Store the blended product cold too.
I have been formulating with this ingredient for most of my twenty years at the bench, and I sell it raw for the same reason I put percentages on every label: you should be able to find out what is in what you are using.
Blend it at 5 percent into a hyaluronic acid base and you have made a better serum than most of what is on the shelf, for a fraction of what it costs — and you will know exactly what is in it, because you put it there.

My hyaluronic serum is 1.0 ounce. I am trying to figure out how many drops of the Matrixyl I need to put in.
For an 8 percent concentration in a 1-ounce base, add 72 drops. Cap and shake well. If you would rather start lower, 5 percent is 45 drops and 3 percent is 27 drops. For a 2-ounce base, double those numbers.
Can I add this to my facial oils serum? I blend Jojoba, Argan, Coconut, and Rosehip Seed oils together.
Our Serum Boosters are water-based. They should be added to our Ultra Hyaluronic Acid or another serum base.
I am specifically looking for a peptide or peptides, for volume loss. My volume loss is really accelerating these past months, making me depressed. I was considering either Matrixyl 3000 or Syn-Coll. Which peptides, in your expert opinion, would you recommend for volume loss?
The answer is both. Therefore you want to use Syn-Tacks - which does both. The listing can be found here: https://www.naturalorganicskincare.com/serum-boosters/syn-tacks/ Also, you are going to want to use a plumping Hyaluronic Acid as a base- this is where you will get the visible plumping. https://www.naturalorganicskincare.com/anti-aging-serums/ultra-hyaluronic-acid-plumping-gel/
