Argireline® Amplified Peptide Solution is the newest multifunctional anti-aging ingredient on the market.
This all-in-one anti-aging peptide is the best multifunctional peptide to make your skin glowing and look more youthful.
Argireline Amplified is Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 in a liposomal delivery system. You blend it into your own base at 2 to 5% to soften the look of expression lines — forehead, crow's feet, and the creases between the brows.
This is a formulation ingredient, not a finished serum. Do not apply it undiluted.
INCI: Water (Aqua), Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Sodium Benzoate
Three ingredients. Sodium benzoate is the preservative.
Clear, thin liquid. Water-soluble. Paraben-free. Made in Spain. 0.5 oz blue glass dropper bottle.
The published research on Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 centres on the SNARE complex — the protein assembly that mediates signalling at the neuromuscular junction. Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 has been studied for its interaction with SNARE complex formation, and that is the mechanism the supplier's research programme is built around.
We publish this because our customers are formulators and informed buyers who want to know what the ingredient actually is, not just what a label says about it.
Lipotec's efficacy work on Argireline Amplified Peptide Solution includes a study using a 3D bio-printed muscle model, led by Dr. Samuel Sánchez at the Institute of Bioengineering of Catalonia. In that model the amplified formulation showed measurable relaxation activity and reduced post-expression time compared with the original.
The supplier's studies also report up to a 20% reduction in wrinkle depth over 28 days with amplified formulations.
These findings are the manufacturer's, from their efficacy dossier, and are reproduced here under our licence agreement with them. They describe testing of the raw material, not of any finished product you blend at home — your result depends on the concentration you use, your base, and how consistently you apply it.
Recommended usage rate is 2 to 5%. Using our house rate of 9 drops per 1% per fluid ounce:
| Concentration | Into 1 oz | Into 2 oz |
|---|---|---|
| 2% | 18 drops · 0.6 g | 36 drops · 1.2 g |
| 5% | 45 drops · 1.5 g | 90 drops · 3.0 g |
Full conversions on the serum booster chart.
Both are Acetyl Hexapeptide-8. The difference is how it is delivered and how much you use.

Pick the original if you are new to peptides, your skin is on the sensitive side, or you want the most formula for the money.
Pick Amplified if you want the liposomal delivery and would rather use less product per batch.
Neither is wasted money. They are the same active.
Argireline Amplified layers with Snap-8, Syn-Ake and Inyline — all four work on the look of expression lines through different routes, so stacking them is not doubling up. Keep the combined total sensible.
Refrigerate on arrival. The blue glass keeps light out.

I want to add 10% Argireline Amplified concentration into a cream base. if the cream is 30 gm, how many drops of it would I add? How much of the peptide solution would I add to make a 10% concentration in a 30 ml cream base?
To make a 10% concentration in a 30 ml or 1-ounce cream base, you would add 90 drops of Argireline Amplified peptide. (90 drops equals 3/4 teaspoon plus 15 drops)
What is the difference between this Argireline Amplified and the regular one? Thanks!
Argireline Amplified is one of the newest anti-aging peptide. It is more powerful than the original Argireline. It is "multifunctional" and targets multiple signs of aging, not just wrinkles. If you like Argireline in your skincare products, you will love the "Amped" version.
Should argireline plus be refrigerated
Yes, we recommend storing Argireline Amplified in the refrigerator. The fridge will keep it fresh for the next time you use it. You can also write the "use by" date (the date opened plus 12 months) on the label with a permanent marker.
How do I add Argireline® Amplified to my current moisturizer? I use "Just Nutritive," and the pump bottle is 8 ounces. How much Argireline should I add to the bottle? And how to stir/mix? Any advice would be most appreciated. Best, Jill
All of our serum boosters, including Argireline Amplified come with an instruction booklet. It includes a step-by-step guide and chart so that you can quickly and easily calculate the amount of booster you will need to add. First, determine the amount needed. The manufacturer recommends using the peptide at a 5% concentration. This information can be found on the label. You can also find it on the product listing page. For an 8 ounce bottle, that would be 360 drops. Each .5 ounce bottle has approximately 300 drops. You will need to use 2 bottles or you can add a 1 ounce of the lotion to an airless pump bottle and then add 45 drops of Argireline Amplified. Second, mix until well blended. You can use a handheld blender or stir stick. For tips and tricks or to watch our "How To" Tutorial Video Series click the link.
How much product is in a bottle of your Argireline Amplified Peptide, and how many drops in a bottle? I was surprised it’s not listed given you offer thorough information on the ingredients and amounts to use in skincare products.
Each bottle is .5 ounce or 15 ml. There are approximately 300 drops in each bottle.
I want to know which is more effective for expression lines, marionette lines, forehead lines and laugh lines Argireline amplified or Snap 8?
Thank you for reaching out with your question about the best options for addressing expression lines, including marionette lines, forehead lines, and laugh lines. Both Argireline Amplified and Snap-8 are excellent peptides known for their anti-aging effects, particularly in reducing the appearance of expression lines. Here’s a brief overview to help you decide which might be more suitable for your needs:
Argireline Amplified is a newer and more potent form of the original Argireline, designed to target expression wrinkles more effectively. It works by modulating the formation of the SNARE complex, thus reducing muscle contractions that lead to expression lines. Due to its enhanced action, Argireline Amplified can provide visible smoothing and softening of wrinkles and is particularly effective for areas like the forehead and around the eyes.
Snap-8 is another peptide that complements the action of Argireline by targeting different mechanisms of wrinkle formation. It also helps reduce muscle contractions but with a slightly different approach in the biochemical pathway. Snap-8 is especially useful for deeper expression lines and can be beneficial for areas like marionette lines and laugh lines.
For comprehensive results, many users find that using both peptides in conjunction can maximize anti-wrinkle benefits, as they work synergistically to reduce muscle movement and can reduce wrinkle formation from different angles. However, if you prefer to start with one, choosing might depend on which areas of your face are your priority:
Remember, the best approach is also to consider other aspects of skincare, such as hydration, proper sun protection, and overall skin health, to complement the effects of these peptides.
