This stand-out peptide can be used alone or with other peptides to enhance performance. Argireline® Peptide, Inyline® Peptide, or Syn®-Ake are excellent contenders.
For visibly smoother-looking skin, use our DIY Snap-8™ Peptide Solution C to diminish the look of wrinkles and expression lines.
Snap-8 is Acetyl Octapeptide-3, an eight amino acid sequence used at 3 to 10% for the look of softened expression lines — forehead, crow's feet, and around the mouth.
This is a formulation ingredient, not a finished serum. Do not apply it undiluted.
INCI: Water (Aqua), Acetyl Octapeptide-3, Caprylyl Glycol
Clear liquid. Water-soluble. Caprylyl glycol is the preservative. Paraben-free, cruelty-free, made in the USA. 0.5 oz dark blue glass dropper bottle.
Snap-8 is an octapeptide — eight amino acids. Argireline is a hexapeptide, six. They are close relatives working on the same concern, which is why they are so often used together rather than instead of each other.
If you already use Argireline and want to build on it, this is the obvious next addition.
Recommended usage rate is 3 to 10%. Using our house rate of 9 drops per 1% per fluid ounce:
| Concentration | Into 1 oz | Into 2 oz |
|---|---|---|
| 3% | 27 drops · 0.9 g | 54 drops · 1.8 g |
| 5% | 45 drops · 1.5 g | 90 drops · 3.0 g |
| 10% | 90 drops · 3.0 g | 180 drops · 6.0 g |

Snap-8 layers with Argireline, Syn-Ake and Inyline for the look of expression lines, or with Matrixyl 3000 and hyaluronic acid for a broader formula.
Keep the combined total sensible. The base still has to be mostly base.
Refrigerate after opening. The dark blue glass limits light exposure.

I'm looking for something comparable to Revox Line Relaxer...that is not as costly! Which product would I buy? I am seriously committed to reducing the fine lines under my eyes and over my lips. Thanks!
Yes, $145 dollars for a .5-ounce bottle is expensive for an eye cream! Ouch. It does contain 8 peptides and Hyaluronic Acid, but the formula is mostly water and glycerin.
You can easily create an under-eye cream that will have a higher concentration of peptides and produce better results.
Here are the ingredients that will produce a similar product:
10% Argireline Amplified Peptide
10% Snap-8 Peptide
5% Syn-Ake
8% Matrixyl 3000
2% Firming Serum Booster with Progeline
3% Syn-Coll
Gaba Powder
Hyaluronic Acid
If you are on a strict budget, use these ingredients:
Snap-8 Peptide
Syn-Ake
Firming Serum Booster with Progeline
Syn-Tacks (instead of Matrixyl 3000 and Syn-Coll)
Hyaluronic Acid
Either formula can be added to a base of our Ultra Hyaluronic Acid, cream, or existing product.
Do you have info on how much Snap-8 to add to a cream to get different strengths like the 3% to 10%
Yes, we send out an Instructional Guide with a chart that you can reference on how to calculate our Serum Boosters.
First, you will need to know the amount of base you will be adding Snap-8 to. Next, choose the concentration that you desire. You can find the manufacturer's concentration recommendations on the label.
For example, if you have a 1-ounce base, you add 90 drops.
Can I use this in a body lotion for increased firming all over the body?
Yes, Snap-8 can be used in body lotion. For firming, we recommend using one of the following:
1. Firming Serum Booster with Progeline
2. Pepha Tight
3. Relistase
4. Syn-Tacks
5. Ten's Up
6. Uplevity
Hi - how many milligrams of Snap-8 per 0.5 ounce bottle?
There are 15 ml in a .5 ounce bottle.
There are 1,4175 milligrams in a .5 ounce.
What size are the bottles? I don't see that info on the Snap 8 bottle.
The Serum Boosters in the blue bottles, including Snap 8, are .5 ounce.
Hi, I have just received my first order of the snap 8 serum. I would like to know how many drops to add to a single application of my moisturizer. I do not want to make a larger amount because my fridge (where you instruct it be kept) is very far from my bathroom! I cannot find this piece of info anywhere I've looked. And is it ok to keep the bottle in my bathroom after it has been opened?
Add 90 drops of Snap 8 into a 1 ounce moisturizer. The final product doesn't need to be refrigerated. Yes, it can be stored in the bathroom.
Place the remaining Snap 8 in the fridge so that it will be fresh for the next use.
